Muffy McMuff!!!

Well frankly i have kinda lost the heart to play Poker last week or so!!

I am finding the Ladbrokes site to soooo full of muffs who call with any old shit,that attempting to improve your game is virtually impossible.A good example is last night.Im sitting with 21k in the hi lo about 5th or 6th and gets qqa summit,cant recall exactly.Anyhow the lad before me monster raises anout 8k.I think,having watched him before,thats hes trying to steal my blinds and re-raises him all in.He somehow calls with two middle cards and a 3.No low draw at all,a shit hi hand,and i look on with horror to see me ahead high after flop and then he hits runner runner 33 to knock me down to 4k with trip 3's.Next hand i got a decent hi lo hand and gets called by AAAA(i kid u not ffs) and incredibly his AA holds.Utterly sickened i logged off and havent played since.I'ts been like this for a week,playing good stuff,getting a good stack,then being shat on by the dreadful software of laddies.I know we all moan like fuck,but i really think instead of tarting up the site,a whole renewal of the random generator was required.

Anyhow,i did make 2 ft's on the hi lo during the week,but really should have won it at least once.never mind,moan over!!!

Yummy, the sweet smell of success!!!

Well thank you Poker Lord! After what can only be described as a fucking desperate period of poor play and ultra bad muffing,i finally got my arse into gear this week as the crucial Winter Nutz period kicked in!!

Played the special on Tuesday,and discovered i actually had a few dollars in Bet365(woo hoo) and managed a creditable 2nd when my A8 ran in Jat's 88 and he flopped another.Jat of course had a fantastic result in the Leocop recently and no doubt this win will sit nicely with his gold bracelet :)

Then on Wednesday,i played the Hi Lo for the first time in a week and gave it my full attention shunning the other games available on Laddies.At the break i had 4k and was expecting a sharp exit,but i managed a double up,then another and found myself on the FT in 8th.I then played my best stuff for ages and actually had a 3-1 chip lead with 4 left but a couple of muffs later and i'm out in 3rd.Still a sign of better form and 29 points.

Then on Thursday,again i concentrated solely on the Hi Lo,which i really feel is now by far my strongest game,and reached the FT with ease.I then played some great stuff,winning some good bluffs,milking the maximum when i had a hand,and got down to 3 left.I was really short stacked at this stage,but flopped a set and doubled up via Tony1967 and by the 3rd interval was level with him and heads up.We eventually agreed a split(the tinker was winding me up with his Yes we'll deal then no we wont routine) and i managed to win the heads up giving me a nice 57 points and a 430$ dollar prize.Good lad is Tony,very hard to play as he's liable to raise or call with owt.Some would call it muffy but i find playing him difficult as he's ultra unpredictable and you really dont know where u are at any given time.

So all in all my best week for quite some time.Cant defend my crown tonight as the wife's got guests coming ffs,so will have to wait til Sunday b4 seeing if my good run can continue.
